Frequently Asked Questions

What's in each book?

Our musicals are accompanied by meticulously crafted scripts tailored to various age groups, enriching productions with depth and substance. Each book comprises character descriptions, stage directions, staging suggestions, and complete song lyrics. Additionally, sheet music for piano, vocals, and guitar arrangements is provided.

Are your musicals adaptable for different cast sizes?

Yes! We provide a suggested guide for cast size on each of our musicals, detailing the minimum cast size as well as the potential size for a larger group or ensemble. Speaking roles can also be split or duplicated within our editable script.

What's included on your CDs?

You can choose a CD or a download to provide accompanying tracks for your rehearsals and performances. All of our musicals are professionally recorded songs to complement the performance.

Do we need permission to use your backing tracks?

Backing tracks from CDs may be used for teaching the music and in rehearsals. Our performance licenses extend permission to utilise backing tracks in public productions.

Are your musicals religious?

We have a selection of both religious and secular musicals, catering for all schools.

Do you have musicals for secondary schools too?

Yes! We are bringing out more musicals suitable for secondary schools in 2024. Watch this space!

Can you recommend a musical?

Our website contains detailed descriptions of each musical, including recommended age, cast size and running time. You can also listen to samples of some of the tracks. You are welcome to contact us via email for assistance in selecting our musicals if you need further assistance.

Do I require a performance license?

Any public performance of a piece of copyright music requires a licence. Works remain protected by copyright for 70 years after the death of the author or composer.

Even if you do not intend to charge an entrance fee for your performance, it is necessary to apply for a licence and a fee will still be payable. If you are staging more than one performance within twelve months, you need only pay the licence fee once. A performance licence can be purchased via the product page for each musical. For comprehensive details on our musical licensing, refer to our Copyright & Licensing section.

Can we create audio and video recordings of our performances?

You can obtain permission to record and distribute recordings of your performances to the public, including parents by purchasing a recording licence via the product page of your chosen musical.
